Spectrum of Many-Particle Brown-Ravenhall Operator

The many-particle Brown-Ravenhall model will be defined. Then some tools to cope with the nonlocality of the the operator will be presented. Then we discuss the location of the essential spectrum (HVZ-theorem) and the existence of the bound states in the atomic case.
