Previous Accomodations

All hotels in the city center are conveniently connected with the lecture hall in Linnéstr. 5 (close to no. 38 on the map below) via tram line 16 (in direction to "Lößnig"). In the city center, tram stops are at "Hauptbahnhof" (main train station), "Augustusplatz", and (less convenient) "Roßplatz" which are all on (or close to) the "ring street" surrounding the inner city part. The relevant stops of tram line 16 are: "Hauptbahnhof (Steig B)", "Augustusplatz", "Roßplatz", "Härtelstraßpe", "Bayerischer Bahnhof", "Johannisallee". To get off for the lecture hall, the best tram stop is "Johannisallee". The tram runs every 10 minutes and takes 6 minutes, see the schedule (valid for start at "Augustusplatz"). This is one stop after "Bayerischer Bahnhof", which is convenient to reach die Institut for Theoretical Physics in Brüderstr. 16". The walking distance from the city center to the lecture hall is about 30 minutes.
