Dear Friends,

the 24th Leipzig Workshop on New Developments in Computational Physics, 19 - 21 December 2023, will continue the "tradition" of previous years and cover simulational studies in general statistical, condensed matter, soft matter and polymer physics, including biological applications, as well as in high-energy physics. As in previous years, the idea of the Workshop is to provide a forum for an informal exchange of ideas (talks will be on Tue/Wed, 19/20 Dec, and collaboration meetings on Thu, 21 Dec) and to meet in Leipzig in a relaxed atmosphere around Christmas time.

Please note the changed and unusually late date of our Workshop which is, unfortunately, caused by the shortage of suitable lecture halls at the standard date (Thursday-Saturday before the 1st advent Sunday). Next year, we'll try to come back to the standard schedule.

Please let us know whether you will join us and send a preliminary title and abstract of your contribution, preferably using our WWW registration. Please try to meet the

DEADLINE: Mo, 27 November 2023,

but do not feel discouraged in case you miss this date - the Workshop has previously been and still is intended to be informal!

Details on the Workshop schedule will be available from our WWW page.

We look forward to welcoming you in Leipzig.

With best regards,
Wolfhard Janke for the CQT Team
