Temperature for double-cone from modular theory

Abstract:

Relying on the modular theory for double-cones, we will recall how to associate a local temperature to the vacuum of a quantum field theory on Minkowski spacetime, as seen by an uniformly accelerated observer with finite lifetime. Then we will present some preliminary results on a similar analysis for double-cone in 2D conformal qft with boundary.
