About
I am currently a Postdoc in the CQT group of the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Leipzig, from where I also obtained my doctorate.
During my doctorate time, I focused on the phase-ordering kinetics following a quench of the long-range Ising model and the adaptation of population annealing, a massively parallel alternative to replica exchange approaches, from Monte Carlo simulations to molecular dynamics.
Previously I wrote my master-thesis about the simulation of polymer collapse using lattice polymer models under the supervision of Suman Majumder.
My bachelor-thesis dealt with the simulation of stochastic transport processes with open boundaries and was supervised by Hannes Nagel.
